What are lash extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are the perfect accessory to extend and thicken your natural lashes without the use of mascara. Extensions are a individually adhered synthetic extension applied to one a individual natural lash. Extensions can be worn daily without removing them nightly and are fully customized to your eye shape.

Will they damage my natural lashes?

No they will not when they are applies properly.  What does this mean? We look at your eyelashes, apply the most appropriate eyelash extension based upon your individual lash length and strength. Eyelash extensions should never hurt or cause your natural lashes to break. Once your natural lash is ready to shed, the extension placed on the lash naturally sheds along with it so there is no pulling, breakage or damage to your natural lash.

How long do they really last?

With properly applied lash extensions and proper at-home care, eyelash extensions may be worn as long as you would like.. With proper at home care, the adhesive will last anywhere from 4-6 weeks. However, you do lose 3-5 natural lashes everyday (from each eye) so after an average of 3 weeks, most clients will want to come in for a "touch up" to keep their lashes looking full. There are many factors that could affect the retention of your extensions including improper home care, not cleaning the lash line, oily eyelids, the use of oil based products on or around the eyeliner, medications, allergies, thyroid or hormonal issues, lifestyle, seasonal changes, a natural heavy lash shed, and so much more.

Can I exercise, swim and shower with my lash extensions?

Absolutely you can! . 

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please come in makeup free. This allows for a better bond of the lash extension to your lash. Make sure you are in comfortable clothing as you will be laying down for a few hours for a set and will more then likely go to sleep. Avoid caffeine a few hours before your appointment time. Caffeine can cause your eyelids to twitch and make the application more difficult.

How do I clean my lash extensions?

Our cleanser is specially designed for the eye area and extensions. You will leave your appointment every time with a new cleaning brush to use  on your lash line and extensions to fully remove any makeup or debris. It is extremely important to keep your lashes clean for your eye health to prevent eye irritation, blepharitis or other eye health issues.
